Bonyan investigated more than 60 roof tops to assess the load bearing elements and study the possibility of installing an external equipment room above the ceiling of the sites, as part of Libyana mobile network operator extension project. NDT testing and structural analysis were applied to evaluate the field work load-bearing elements of the existing equipment Libyana had installed on the surface of the sites.

The sites were located in each of Tripoli, Misurata, Garian and Nalut cities.

Bonyan has a new contract with Libyana for more sites and works are ongoing.

Technical support for the implementation of maintenance works for concrete elements at Tripoli International Stadium.

Examination and NDT testing works of 200 apartments/condos in many areas, including the Old City. BCE is also undertaking Site Supervision works for the project.

Bonyan undertook investigation and assessment works for the deteriorated reinforced concrete elements of  at bulk berth no. (1) of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO) harbor.

Works included execution of NDT testing to assess the structural  situation of the reinforced berth, which is ~  384m in length and 36m in width, to determine the extent of the need of implementing a temporary support system for the concrete elements during treatment, by removing and re-implementing parts of the deck.

Year of Completion: 2013.

Investigation works for a number of 29 buildings, with a total no. of 248 units, lying in the 2^nd zone of Sirte which were damaged in the combats during the liberation of the city back in 2011. The scope also includes feasibility study.

The client is Housing & Infrastructure Board of Libya (HIB).

Investigation included implementation of all necessary insitu & laboratory testing and structural analyses to assess the structural condition of the stadium, for the Libyan Investment and Development Co. (LIDCO), and laying remedial measures where necessary.

The structural system is composed of 20 R.C. frames carrying one level of spectators’ seats. The stadium is also surrounded by R.C. retaining walls.
